H&I takes over 100 area panels into twenty two facilities, usually on a weekly basis, to suffering addicts who could not otherwise attend regular meetings of NA. Recovering addicts carry the NA message into residential drug treatment centers, jails, mental institutions, adolescent and other facilities.

Panel members are recovering addicts who have at least six months clean; panel leaders have a minimum of one year clean (some institutions have special requirements).
